For more information visit harvest.liveoakpta.net This week in K-1: The song, There is a Spider on the Floor, has been lots of fun to sing during circle time. I have a little spider ring and it slowly crawls up our bodies ends up on our heads, jumps off and lands back on the floor. Our morning roll call activity is going swimmingly. Everyone takes turn handing a friend their pumpkin name card for them to put on the whiteboard. Recognizing peers, our names, waiting for our turn, and completing a multi-step direction is all being developed on a daily basis. Fortunately, the air quality has improved and we have been able to practice for our Halloween parade. We have been practicing walking with a walking rope around the upper playground. What is everyone going to be for Halloween? The preschool team has been hard at work at our surprise costumes! Some weeks I only bring my purse and lunch bag, other weeks I seem to bring in everything I own. Fall has so many sensory aspects and decorations, I happily brought in a few things. :)
